Since approximately 2pm AEST, Telstra has been experiencing a nationwide transit issue causing major routing table changes throughout the network.

(Service Update) As you have noticed some of you may be experiencing intermittent internet access. this is being investigated as a priority.
UPDATE (3:15 AEST): Telstra have announced that the issue has been rectified and all services have returned to normal.
According to itwire, Telstra media spokespeople aren’t answering phones and are avoiding media for the timebeing.
